Hannibal Arts Council’s Young Masters exhibition runs through April 26 – Muddy River News

HANNIBAL, Mon. — Tue Hannibal Arts Council fills its galleries each April with the Young Masters exhibition – selected works by Hannibal’s fifth, eighth, and sixth form students, including public and church schools.

Participating schools are AD Stowell Elementary, Holy Family 5th and 8th Classes, Mark Twain Elementary, Oakwood Elementary, Veterans Elementary, Hannibal Middle School 8th Class and select students from Hannibal High School taught by Lisa Wiese, James Zimmerman and Christina Strode.

The exhibition runs through April 26th at the Hannibal Arts Council. Selected students from each grade level are awarded prizes each evening. The art teachers in Hannibal High School’s art department make additional awards specifically for participating HHS students. 5th and 8th grade graduation awards will be held on April 25 from 4:00-6:00 p.m., with high school graduation awards being presented on April 26 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
