Discover the art of light in the “Glow” exhibition at the Exploratorium

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) – What better way to get involved, discover and celebrate than at the Exploratorium. The galleries will shine bright this winter with an exhibition called “Glow”.

Glow is an annual program at the Exploratorium that has expanded over the years and is now bigger and better than ever.

“Light is something that surrounds us everywhere. It illuminates. It’s transformative, ”explains Kirstin Bach, Art Director of the Exploratorium. “We want to see art in the Exploratorium as the same thing. As illuminating and transforming. It helps us to see something new.”

Discover fascinating light art shining through the room from talented artists Michael Brown, CHiKA, Nick Dong, Alicia Eggert, Ekene Ijeoma, Luke Jerram, Burt Libe and Ames Palms.

Connect, play and be inspired as you stroll through the museum.

“For this year’s exhibition, we have selected works that are often very reflective and indicate the way people are connected,” said Kathleen Maguire, Public Programs Manager at the Exploratorium. “We believe this is something that people want to feel right now – a sense of connection and a sense of re-emerging in the world.”
