City Life Org – New York Eye & Ear Control Art Exhibit opens at Montauk Beach House
collage of Justin Lowe and Jonah Freeman
Montauk beach house is back with a new aesthetic and hosting another eccentric art exhibition, “New York Eye & Ear Control” which starts on Friday July 29th and runs until Tuesday August 9th!
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this summer, Montauk Beach House continues to innovate by offering interesting and exciting events for locals and visitors alike.
Curated by boo hooray Founder Johan Kugelberg, will feature a group show of artists active in NYC bringing an urban twist to beach culture.
“We thought that New York art should get some beach time alongside all the city dwellers in the East. This show is basically a boo-hooray showcasing our friends, people we admire, and taking the vibe of boo-hooray to Montauk for a spin!” – Johann Kugelberg
Kugelberg founded Boo-Hooray in 2010 to formalize the archival work he began years earlier as a collector and enthusiast. He has created extensive collections in the fields of punk, hip hop and counterculture with a focus on prints, ephemera, photography and book art.
Artists featured in New York Eye & Ear Control include:
Justin Lowe and Jonah Freeman
Fab Five Freddy
In addition to:
Charles Henri Ford
This event is officially sanctioned by Montauk Counter Culture.
