The MoMA Film Benefit is in its 14th year and is an event to raise money for the “acquisition and preservation of important film works”.

The museum’s film exhibitions are also financially supported.

This year’s fundraiser recognized Penelope’s remarkable career as an actress, and the proceeds will go to MoMA’s Black Family Film Center.

The prestigious establishment has implemented strict Covid-19 guidelines that require guests to be fully vaccinated and a negative PCR test to be presented within 48 hours of the gathering.

Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin and singer Rosalía also took part in the top-class event, which was partly moderated with Chanel.
